Hello dear friends,

It's been a grueling process to get this new album written, recorded & prepared. Many obstacles, distractions & delays along the way, but two things have not wavered...our dedication to the craft of our music & our appreciation for those who have support us.

We've created what we feel to be the strongest material of our career & can't wait to share it with you all.

In the weeks ahead, leading up to the September 11 release, we will need the support of our most die hard fans more that ever. Soon we will have full color posters to promote the record. We also have a .pdf flyer that can easily be printed & distributed.

There are many other ideas brewing for you to join forces with us and get the word out in full force. Now is the time to band together and take this to the next level.

Icarus Witch #4 most added loud rock album in the country!

According to CMJ charts, Songs For The Lost was the 4th most added album to the Loud Rock radio stations in the U.S. with 88 new stations picking up. FMQB has the album as #6 most added with another 48 stations adding the record.

Here is a breakdown of some of the stations that have Icarus Witch ready to go this week. If you're a fan look for the station nearest you & call up to request the Witch. If you don't see your favorite station on here, call them and tell them to get with the program...Bring true metal back to the American airwaves!

hey guys ! Witch is truely growing on me. Now instead of EBAY being the site im addicted too it is now ICARUS WITCH web! CAPTURE THE MAGIC has CAPTURED me NOW im ADDICTED!

anyway i want to do my part to support my new FAV CD and BAND.

Since I'm NOT rich i'll have to do what i can that is FREE (YAY!)

So im spreading the WORD of the WITCH on the WEB!!! (hhehe say that 3 times real fast!)

i posted a request to play some ICARUS WITCH on PROG RADIO on the web , more specifically DELICIOUS AGONY prog rock radio. here there are listeners all over the world. at very least it could bring some more new fans to the SITE here and hopefully sell some CD's too. check it out @ deliciousagony.com

Well when I read steel's post I thought about it for a bit and I called up a couple of my buddies in different parts of the state and asked them to help me out... So, you're covered from Dallas to Corpus.. I'm also cheking with my buddy who happens to be a radio producer for 101.7/KTEM News Radio here in Central Texas and he said if you guys ever play anywhere around, it shouldn't be that hard to get the word out.

They're always doing some sort of ticket giveaway and crap so that could help. But whenever the time comes, don't worry about Texas.. The redneck prevail again.

I brought up the idea to Jason about an official fan club and I was wondering what everyone else thought?

I mean sure.. everyone and their momma has a fan club but what's the hurt in it. I think whenever there is time to really sit down and think about it, someone should see about starting one with approval of course.. There are plenty of ways for the fans to keep in touch with the band as it is right now (or so I think). But still there isn't really any hurt in having an 'official' fan club so we can all be really cool..

We could really use help getting the word out about our upcoming Pittsburgh shows in May. If anyone is willing to help us distribute flyers, email me at info@icaruswitch.com (subject: Icarus Witch flyer) and I'll email you back a pdf of our show flyer, which you could print copy and distribute along with us.

We're trying to hit as many places as possible for 2 reasons:

1) To make sure both events are well attented so that the venues see there is a good case for continuing to support true metal.

and

2) We only have a few weeks to do this in, and next weekend we'll be out of town playing New Jersey.

We also need to let Yngwie fans in the area know that if you plan to go, wether you're into the Witch or not, buying tix through IcarusWitch.com helps you avoid outrageous service fees and helps us show the venue that there is a fan base of young, enthusiastic metal heads here who want to see more classic shows like this in the 'burgh.

Thanks for your support. If anyone is reading this and you're from New York or New Jersey, we need you help in a similar way. Cyber flyering is a good alternative for those without vehicles, and spreading the word at schools and other public forums increases our chances of keeping this flame burning as well.

I'm heading to Dallas for a week for some business. If you guys happen to get a print-out flyer or something up and going before Wednesday (that's when I come back) I can print out a bunch and send them out around the city. I got a few buddies up there in music stores and crap and I doubt they'd give a shit if I put up some Witch love.

If you can't uhm, if you could just upload me a few images somewhere and I can create my own PDF while I'm sitting in my hotel room watching cable and being bored out of my f'ing mind.

Well I got a few ideas... I was talking to Jason about spreading the word and shit...

How about this... to make it easier for everyone have someone design an official Icarus Witch printable flyer that we can easily get about.. That way all you have to have is a printer and a computer.. (and the internet.. but if you don't have that.. you're probably not reading this shit right now)

I know around here there are lots of music shops and stores that will let you post up a flyer here and there... So, why dont we all just start our own web of people passing it out..

Design the flyer with a large, noticable logo and then put the band's website on there. Keep it updated with show dates or leave an editable spot on the flyer layout for us fans to put down show dates if the Witch happens to be in the area.
