| That's a good list, Dooman. I saw Gizmachi at Ozzfest last summer and was thoroughly unimpressed. In fact, I had to walk away. Maybe they don't translate well live, but from what I heard I had no interest in hearing any more. Mnemic is pretty cool. I have one of their CD's and I like it, but as of right now it doesn't fet too much playing time (Too many other better CD's getting heavy rotation). Communic is, well, one of the best bands to come along in a long time. Waves of Visual Decay is superb. Conspiracy in Mind, the first one, has some great songs on it but you can tell that they had not reached full potential yet. I remember hearing a sample of a Sikth song a year ago or so and thought it was pretty good, though I never followed up on it. Daath and Gojira are 2 that I want to hear more of. They seem like something I would enjoy. The others I am not familiar with, but this list is a helluva starting point. Thanks.

I know this isn't exactly polyrhythmic, but I actually like the new Eidolon CD more than the Communic (I will probably get stoned and hung for saying this)
- What you used to love now, you're gonna adore. With Charmin Ultra, less is more. Cha Cha Cha, Charmin.

| Communic is hardly polyrhythmic, prolly the least of the bands on the list. In fact i probably should have left them off. So i dont want to comment on Eidolon really here. All I'll say is i dont like them even closely as much as Communic. Daath, Cryopsis, and Psyopus dont exactly belong either. Cryopsis has a few polyrhythmic parts, Psyopus has tonnes of wierd tempo and time changes but its more along the lines of Ion Dissonance than Meshuggah. Everyone on the list should be heard but i absolutely insist that you all must hear Terminal Function, Linear Sphere, Tetsuo, Coprofago, Textures, Tandjent, Sikth and Sybreed if u havent. They are all Extremely top quality musicians and music. Some of my fav bands hands down.

While I wouldn't necessarily call this polyrhythmic metal, Renewal from Kreator did have some polyrhythmic music going on.
