yes thats true, but people everywhere say misfits is hardcore. and it bugs me.

But they're not that hardcore are they? I'd have thought hardcore punk to be more like Atreyu and stuff. Misfits are like Black Flag!

Punk, not hardcore. They've helped influence and shape the hardcore scene. But saying they're hardcore is like saying Jonny Cash was punk.
