I agree with the whole Slayer thing. They're just not on Slayers level. Plus the mtv2 dickweeds also call As I Lay Dying metal and Mastodon br00tal. So I don't take their bullshit seriously.

| OK, been listening to Sacrement a little bit lately, and I am not sure where the hate comes from. They are not great but not terrible either. I heard some things I didn't like, yes, but I never felt the urge to hurl. What I do wanna know is who the hell would ever compare them to Slayer? It just ain't there. They are 2 distinctly different bands playing different music. I will say this, though. If you are looking for a good band in this style I say look at God Forbid. Much better lyrically and more variety in the music.

OK, been listening to Sacrement a little bit lately, and I am not sure where the hate comes from. They are not great but not terrible either. I truly don't understand the whole Slayer comparison either though. Especially 'Sacrement'; I think it sounds more like Pantera than anything else. I saw God Forbid in concert, and they put on a good live show, but I've never listened to any of their albums. Any suggestions?
