I thought the video was pretty funny.  The "princess" role was filled perfectly by the clown, Adam D.

I'm sure that the band knows they can never top Dio's version of Holy Diver, and obviously it wasn't an attempt at "bettering" anything, but it was at least comical.  I think the band was just blowing some steam and having a good time.

Jesus Metalhead, why so harsh man?  The band doesn't suck that bad.  You have to admit, even if everything else they've done "sucks something pointy", The End of Heartache was pretty good yeah?

Don't bother trying to get metalhead87 to like this kind of music. Not his thing, never will be.

As for me, I don't think Killswitch is all that bad.  I have 2 of their CD's I think, and I saw them at Ozzfest a few years ago.  Didn't make me sick hearing them, but I also was not sucked in either.

I can't see the vid here at work so I will check it out at home tonight.

I hate those damn work computers.  Those bastards block out everything; everything except for that crappy work stuff anyway.

Ha, ha.  Metalhead87 doesn't seem to agree with me on much.  Not yet anyway.  I'll find something.

I have every Killswitch CD.  I'm the type of person that if I have one CD of a band, and it's any good, I have to buy them all.  Unfortunatly for me, that has caused the flushing of a lot of beans down the shitter.  The older Killswitch stuff with Jesse Leach on vocals... not so good.  Not so good at all for that matter, but I like Howard Jones, and I thought that The End of Heartache was pretty good.  As Daylight Dies was alright, but I wouldn't recommend buying it.  Burn it from some other poor chap that got suckered into buying it.

I've seen them live twice; second time only because they came with Dragonforce and Chaimara.  Weird combo of bands, but whatever.  I like their live shows.  Jones works the crowd pretty well.

I've seen Killswitch twice now (only because they were touring with bands I like), and both times it was a miserable experience.  The band isn't that bad, but the vocals are fucking awful.  Everytime I started to get into the music, he started singing like a fairy.  And what kind of frontman wears a blazer on stage?!  They get no respect from me.

They don't deserve to do a DIO cover.

I 100% agree with you.  The blazer thing is pretty freaking gay, and I don't understand it at all, but whatever.  There aren't very many african-american frontmen in the metal world, maybe that's what they do.  To each his own...
