| This gig served as my introduction to Icarus Witch, so I'll leave it to one of the guys in the band or another attendee to post details regarding the set list. I really just wanted to stop by and say that the band really blew me away last night! From start to finish, these guys were tight, and they sounded fantastic! I would like to thank Icarus Witch for making the trek to come and play for us; I'll be anxiously awaiting your next opportunity to play Atlanta again! I picked up a copy of SONGS FOR THE LOST at the show last night; unfortunately, I waited until after the show to shop for merch, and there were no more XL shirts available (is there a place I can order one online?). Anyway, I just wanted to stop by and say thanks again for such a great show! I also wanted to provide some quotes from the ProgPower board regarding Icarus Witch and last night's show: RiffDaemon: "Icarus Witch were damned amazing" Justin Gaines: "Damn fine show last night. Icarus Witch brought two-fisted true metal like no one since, well, Twisted Tower Dire two weeks ago. IW is so energetic you can't help but get into it." PatrickHoyt: "Icarus Witch...holy sh!t that was amazing. I got the drummer's "beaten to a pulp" snare head at the end of the night and got them all to sign it. I swear, if they don't play the Showcase at PPUSAIX I'm going to be surprised. *runs off and bothers Shane*" James (yours truly): "I'll agree with Patrick's assessment that the show was amazing! The band was really tight, and they sounded fantastic." Quotes from those who couldn't make the show: dcowboys311: "I wish I could have gone to this show...Icarus Witch is incredible, and while I may use that word liberally, I truly mean it for this band, and this is coming from someone who is pretty bored with power/heavy metal" HeavenlyCall: "ARgh...sounds like I missed a hell of a show...next time next time next time...damn." Try contacting info@icaruswitch.com for merch info. In the meantime, keep checking the website for information. Icarus Witch always keep their information up-to-date.
I agree that they play an amazing live set and perform beautiful music that sounds like nothing else anyone makes today. No wonder they earn new fans wherever they go!

Glad you enjoyed the Witch, James. They really are a tight band and bring true old-school metal to the masses. I also know that Jason, and the rest of the band, will be thrilled to read those comments.
